New Jumpster

This hilarious video is of little Molly having a blast on her jumpster. We put her in one the first time at my friend Allison's house this past week and she was kinda suspicious of it. We decided she was big enough to start using one so now, after 2 days of getting used to it, this is the result. Thanks Allison for the idea, best purchase ever!

First Cereal!!!

We finally figured out how to work the new camera we got from Bryon's parents for Christmas and just in time! Yesterday we gave Molly her first taste of cereal. She turns 5 months old this week and has started acting like she may be ready for solid food, so we decided to give it a-go! Up until now she has been great with her breastfeeding and formula and just this past week she started waking up in the night, chewing on her hands constantly, watching every bite of food we take, etc. So we sat her in the bumbo chair and taped her first cereal eating experience for your viewing pleasure. Now that we've figured this cool camera out, stay tuned for many more videos!

Molly Crackin Up

I took this video today when Bryon and Molly were playing on the changing table. You will probably have to turn your volume up all the way to hear it. She was cracking up at the faces he was making. There's just nothing better than seeing a child laugh :)

4 months

Sorry this is a few weeks late. We have had quite the eventful month of January. Molly turned 4 months on the 26th of January and is doing great! We had her 4 month well visit this past Monday and she is checking out perfectly. She is 14ib 4oz (50%) and 23inches (20%). The doctor said it looks like she is going to be a petite little girl like her mommy. Being short isn't all that bad though, at least you can wear heels without feeling taller than everyone! She is very healthy and didn't cry once during the exam. The doctors commented that they have never seen such a happy content baby. She also got two shots, DTaP and Hib. She of course didn't like those but was fine once she received some comfort food after wards. Tylenol beforehand is also great, however, the doctor said you shouldn't give Tylenol before shots because it can mask a temperature that could come as a side effect of the shot, oh well. Next month we're going for two more shots and then the last DTap and Hib at her 6 month visit. What we're doing is giving her DTaP and Hib on schedule at her 2,4 and 6 month visits and in between doing Prevnir and Polio. We're not doing Rotavirus and not giving Hep B or Hep A until she's older.

Then after her appointment, Molly and I went to Shelby from Monday-Thursday. We haven't been home since Christmas and don't know when we will be able to go back so we decided to make the trip. Bryon was terribly lonely here in Fayetteville by himself but managed. The picture above is from Wednesday night when we were gone. Bryon made himself a pizza and put my portion on a plate beside him and had Molly's chair on the other side of him playing because he was so lonely. haha, I have the sweetest husband in the world.

While we were in Shelby, Molly of course picked up a bug. Everytime we've been there since her birth she has picked up some type of bug. Last time we ended up in the ER and this time it was a stomach flu. If that is the trade in for spending time with my nephews, it is well worth it. One day she'll be the one giving other kids bugs, haha. She isn't over it yet but we're making progress. She wasn't able to keep down anything but Pedialyte yesterday but today she ate her usual meal and handled it well. So we're keeping our fingers crossed. It is so sad when your little baby is vomiting and has diarrhea! Especially when they are so little, you feel so helpless!

Well that's it for now. Have a great weekend everyone!
