Suitors Beware!

This is Bryon in Mali with his new sword, at least I think that's what it is called. I was informed that this will be by the door for all little suitors who come trying to date Molly. I don't know about you but I'm scared!

Squealing

I found this video I took of Molly a few weeks back and thought it was worth viewing.. I love this stage when your baby now 'talks' to you and can really interact. Don't you just love when babies can play with their feet! Adorable!

Pennsylvania

We are in Pennsylvania! The past few weeks and the next month are going to be quite the blur. We have been told that Bryon's first day of work in England is May 26th and that we will be leaving around May 23rd. So, we have been busy applying for official passports, renting storage units, bringing all of our possessions from PA and my parents house in Shelby to one central unit in Fayetteville, AND trying to visit both of our families as much as possible. Last week, Bryon's mom stayed with us and spent time with Molly while we did some things on base and now we are in PA for a couple of weeks. Did I mention it SNOWED the whole trip up here from WV to PA! Snow in April is unheard of in the south, I was in lala land surrounded by the white beautiful trees the whole trip.

Usually when we go to PA we fly on NW Airlines and it is a quick and easy couple of flights. We always eat in the same McDonalds and note the changes in each airport terminal since we last flew there. It's a fun time really. This time, we drove. All the way from Blacksburg, SC to Erie, PA. We passed through SC, NC, VA, WV, and PA. That, my friends, is a long trip. We stopped half way in a hotel and watched the Tar Heels win the championship so that broke the trip up a lot, but still it took about 11 hours driving time with a 6 month old. Fortunately, Molly is like a perfect child and slept, played with Bryon's mom or coo'd at the stuff outside the whole way.

We are going to be here through Easter and head home next week. This is the first time I haven't celebrated Easter with my family that I can remember. Strange really, even in College I would come home for Easter. It is for the best though, I need to get used to being independent on holidays since I'm not going to be here often for the next few years. It will be really hard having Christmas in England vs with our families this year. God is good though, and I trust Him to take care of all of my worries and fears.

Signing off for now. Maybe it will snow more today!!! Lots of pictures to come!
