FIRST WORD!!!!!

It's official... Molly has said her first word.
what is it????

DADA!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this was definitely a well pronounced Dada and she says it to Bryon all the time now. When she woke up this morning the first thing I heard was DaDaaa Da Daaaa and sure enough she wanted nothing to do with me but wanted Bryon. So it's official she's a daddy's girl. I'm ok with that :)

Kiddie Pool

Molly has become a fish in her days of leisure in Shelby. She discovered the kiddie pool and the hot tub at my parent's house and has been in one or the other every day this week! She didn't even seem to mind the cold water in the kiddie pool. She may never crawl but she will definitely swim!

Casey and Molly

This was taken from Chris's camera phone so it isn't the best quality but it captures the moment very well. All of us were hanging around in my parents bedroom discussing what toppings we wanted on our pizza and Casey and Molly were holding hands on the bed watching Noggin. This is what I will miss when we move to England...

Moved out!

We successfully moved out of our apartment today for good! Turned in the keys, checked the mail, shed a tear or two and headed away from Fayetteville for the last time! We are in Shelby now where we will be living with my parents until we are able to go to England. Fortunately, all of our official passports came in and we were FINALLY able to submit our visa applications, so in 30 days or less, we should be headed over. We are totally zonked but very grateful that the moving went smoothly. I'll try to get more pictures posted this week. Thank you to Tony and Holly for feeding us the past two days and for giving us blow up beds so we wouldnt be sleeping on the floor in our empty apt last night. You guys are great friends.

Going swimming!

Grandpa Mushrush came to visit us this past weekend which, by the way, was our last weekend living in Fayetteville!! Today the movers came and took our first shipment of stuff to send to England. The rest of the household goods go by boat and the movers come the next three days to finish up all of that. While Grandpa was here, we went swimming in our apartment pool with Molly for the first time and had a blast! At first she was very skeptical of the water and the three other kids swimming around her but after 10 minutes or so of clinging tightly to Bryon, she got accustomed to the situation and loved it! We put her in her float and she sailed around the pool doing the breaststroke kick. Gotta start 'em early!

Car Ride

All ready to go!

Ok not really, we would not let Molly ride in the front seat like this, but it's funny making you think we would :)

Erie Trip

The past couple of months we have been fortunate enough to be able to visit family all around the country in one last hoorah before we move to England. Bryon's mom came to NC to visit us for a week, then we went to Erie to spend a few weeks with the rest of Bryon's family, then we spent a week in Shelby. After that we headed to Maryland to see Bryon's sister's family and to Boone for Mary's graduate from Applachian State and now we are back in Shelby for Mother's Day weekend.

These pictures are ones from our trip to Erie. I have so many that I'll probably post more later on but these are some of my favorites and a highlight of our trip. We will be headed back to Fayetteville tomorrow to finish packing up our suitcases that we will carry on the plane when we head out to England. We will be around for another month waiting on our passports and Visa's to get worked out but we are excited and ready for our big European Adventure! Enjoy!

Great Gram Sargent came over to celebrate my birthday! Bryon's mom made me a homemade red velvet cake for my birthday which is my favorite cake ever! We were very spoiled.

Bryon's dad hand made him a display case with two flags, each one flow during Bryon's two different deployments and with space to display his uniform rack and pins. Absolutely incredible case.

Party at the Border's House

These pictures were taken at Aunt Cindy and Uncle Steve's house on April 27th. We celebrated Mom and Dad's birthday and had a great time letting the cousins all play together outside. So glad Spring is here!
