I don't know if I have ever seen such blue clear water. It was really beautiful.
The magnificent Red Sea. It was quite the feeling knowing that so many years ago Moses led the children of Israel through this area as they fled out of Egypt remembering how Moses parted the Red Sea for the people to pass. Just an hour from where we were is thought to be Mount Sinai where Moses was given the Ten Commandments and just beyond that is the area of the burning bush. How great is our God!
Sharm Grand Plaza Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
This was the typical view while we walked around the hotel. Beautiful flowers and palm trees and Molly holding two people by the hand while do a little strut.
Molly in front of the hibiscus.
Group shot on the beach after a long day of swimming, exploring and shopping!
Trying to get Molly to 'touch' the Red Sea. Finally, this way worked but not without many painful efforts :)
The only pool Molly would consider swimming in was the lukewarm jacuzzi. They had a really neat Mickey Mouse pool but it was too cold and she screamed when we tried to get her in that one. On our second day there, she finally consented to giving this pool a try and actually started enjoying it!
Breakfast of champs; breakfast casserole, juice box, and yogurt with daddy slipping some french toast to me while mommy wasn't looking.
As soon as she walked in the door, this is the first thing she did.
Yes, I'm cute but this is not a very fun present, lets move on already!
Checking our her Dora dish set, what a fun Christmas!
Christmas dinner with our friends the Ollis's. What a feast we had! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas like we did. It is most definitely the most wonderful time of the year!
Snow on Christmas Eve !!! I don't remember EVER having a white Christmas!
From the outside looking in
It's time to get the cookies ready for Santa's visit.
Ohhh, this icing stuff is neat! Look how good I'm doing!
Hmm, wait a minute, yall are holding out on me, this is yummy!!!
After reading the Christmas story and Molly's children's version of the Christmas story book. Molly had her bath and got on her Christmas PJ's from Nana and Grandpa and is ready to get out the grub for Santa.
Now we are ready! Cookies for Santa (minus the one Molly iced, that one got eaten), an apple for Rudolph and milk for Santa. Now it's time to hurry to bed!
Christmas morning breakfast. Eggnog french toast for Bryon and Breakfast casserole for me. Molly liked a little of both.
Looks like Christmas morning!
Breakfast is ready, Santa has stopped by but where is Molly??? Asleep still!! So at 10:15 we went to wake her up. We were too excited to wait anymore! Stay tuned for part 2 of Christmas morning!
