Myrtle Beach trip

We had a great weekend at the beach with Bryon's family. Molly and Brandon had a great time bonding and giving kisses and for the first time ever, we got to see what it was like being a 'tourist'. Our beach house was full so we had to get a hotel in Myrtle Beach and boy was it a different feeling. This is the last time we will see Bryon's family before we leave so it was a very special last visit. The two most important things I learned from this trip. 1: Molly hates the sunshine and beach. She loves the water but screamed bloody murder when we were on the actual sand. 2: My new nephew's name is going to be Dominick!! I love this name and can't wait to meet him Diane! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

This is the Molly we all know and love.

Check it out, our once bald baby is the proud owner of hair!!!

I decided the photographer needed to be in at least one picture :)

My goofy handsome husband

Tickle Tickle Tickle! I think Molly maybe winning this one.. She looks awfully serious.

Late night swim at the pool. Molly was a water bug and after about 10 minutes in the pool with pa pa, Brandon was warming up to the idea as well.

Molly's New Trick

Molly can now pull to standing! She is wobbly in her attempts and sometimes get's her foot caught under the table while pulling up but she can now pull up and does it as often as possible. She has no interest whatsoever in crawling, in fact, when she gets in the crawling position instead of just going with the crawl, she finds the nearest tall object and pulls to standing. haha! I'm not sure if she'll ever want to crawl but thats ok, I didn't care for crawling either. We may have a walker here soon if she can ever get her balance.

Chimney Rock and Hendersonville

These are a few of the pictures taken during our outing today to Chimney Rock and Hendersonville. We had a great time, walked in downtown Chimney Rock, had lunch at Larkins on the Lake, and strolled through Hendersonville and had dinner at the Marble Slab ice cream shop. Another memory to add to my memory book.

This is posed, Molly was not allowed to eat all that ice cream, however, she did have a few licks of Nana's snickerdoodle ice cream cone and almost jumped off of my dad's lap with excitement. The only person I've ever seen get that excited over ice cream is my sweet hubby, ice cream is his favorite food.

Rocking in her wooden rocking chair in Chimney Rock.

Walking around and shopping in downtown Hendersonville.

It's getting dark, time to head home.

Walmart trip

This picture is from my last Walmart shopping trip in Fayetteville before we moved. Molly decided to wake up at 5am-ish and so we went shopping before the crowds came out. It was a beautiful Saturday morning and we had the best time. As you can see, she is already a big helper, holding onto my bags and purse for me.

New departure date!

Well, our visa's have arrived and we were just informed that Bryon's new start date will be July 6th!!! That means we will be leaving sometime around Independence Day! We are so excited we finally have a date. Bryon told me the news over dinner at Outback tonight where we ate an appetizer AND desert in addition to our meals. We never eat out much less order an appetizer and desert. So, needless to say, we feel very excited, stuffed and anxious all at the same time tonight. Please keep us in your prayers during these next 4 weeks. It seems like so long but I know God has a plan for everything and there are a lot of hearts (ours especially) that needs to be strengthened before the big move.

My fun time at the park

Hey, this is Molly. I had a great time at the park tonight with Daddy, Mommy, Aunt Mary, Taylor, Casey, Collin, Ayden and Uncle Chris. We played on the jungle gyms (well the boys did, not me, I played on my towel with my toys). Then we had pizza and grapes and now we're all ready to ride the train around the playground!

Hang on... here we gooooo!!!! As you can see, I'm not so sure about this train thing. At least I have Casey to protect me.

This is fun but I'm getting awfully tired.

Going around the turn, about to enter the tunnel. Hold on!!!

I sure had fun but now it's time for a nap. Goodnight everyone!

Shopping with Nana

Today Nana took Molly (and we tagged along) shopping at Carters and as you can see, they bought out the whole store! We are going to miss our shopping trips to the yellow malls with Nana when we are in England. This is some special Molly/Nana time that we all cherish. If Carter's knew how many clothes Molly wears from their store, they would hire her to be a baby model for them. I couldn't believe how big the 12 month size clothes are and the fact that Molly can now wear some of them blows my mind! Thanks again Nana for a great day!

Warm fuzzy days

What a great weekend we had! These pictures were taken during the tractor ride we went on at Harvest Works this past Saturday. What a cool place that is! We had hamburgers, petted animals, sang karaoke and watched my nephews jump in the inflatable play gym. Before that we went to a strawberry farm and got strawberries and went yard sale-ing where a cute little girl sold me books for 5cent! It was a beautiful sunny day and I felt very thankful to be at this specific place at this specific time. This day was one of those moments where you feel the presence of the Lord in your life so strongly and feel so thankful to be surrounded by people who love you. Oh, and that's not all we did that day! We also swam in the kiddie pool (see below) and had spaghetti at Aunt Liddy's house! Great Great Day! I hope you are able to have one of those warm fuzzy days too.
