My strawberry funfetti cake for Valentines Day..

Molly helping..

Oh yeahhh..

Remnants of the icing...
follow up after the icing.. Molly bounced off the wall, talking to herself and walking around in circles, riding her little tikes car faster than ever, etc.. thus, sugar should be eaten in moderation :)

New bag

We went to the 99p store (like the dollar store only much much nicer) this past weekend and they had these little purses on sale. So Molly had to have one and has carried it around ever since. She is so prissy! I have no idea where she gets it from. She even drinks her milk with her pinky out and will not eat if she has anything on her hands or mouth. So funny!

This is what happens when 1 year olds refuse to take their naps...

They fall asleep at the dinner table!

Egypt part 3

Molly's favorite balcony game.

Snuggling is much better than swimming

Bryon went snorkeling in the Red Sea along side lots of incredibly beautiful fish and mean barracudas.. yikes!

Bonding with Daniel on the way to the airport heading back to the UK. Bye Bye Egypt, we had a great time!

More Egypt

Having a little juice treat before boarding the submarine

Submarine trip in the Red Sea

Loving all the brightly colored fish

I think we wore her out. She took long naps every day and slept well every night!

Nana having a great time on her camel.

Bryon, Molly and Nana riding their camels, and prego me leading the way.

Heading single file down to the water

Nana and Molly on the beach

Molly wasn't so sure about her baby camel but finally sat on him as long as Bryon held her.

Egypt

I don't know if I have ever seen such blue clear water. It was really beautiful.

The magnificent Red Sea. It was quite the feeling knowing that so many years ago Moses led the children of Israel through this area as they fled out of Egypt remembering how Moses parted the Red Sea for the people to pass. Just an hour from where we were is thought to be Mount Sinai where Moses was given the Ten Commandments and just beyond that is the area of the burning bush. How great is our God!

Sharm Grand Plaza Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

This was the typical view while we walked around the hotel. Beautiful flowers and palm trees and Molly holding two people by the hand while do a little strut.

Molly in front of the hibiscus.

Group shot on the beach after a long day of swimming, exploring and shopping!

Trying to get Molly to 'touch' the Red Sea. Finally, this way worked but not without many painful efforts :)

The only pool Molly would consider swimming in was the lukewarm jacuzzi. They had a really neat Mickey Mouse pool but it was too cold and she screamed when we tried to get her in that one. On our second day there, she finally consented to giving this pool a try and actually started enjoying it!

Christmas in England, part two

Morning sleepyhead, time to wake up!

Time for crib playtime before getting up.

Breakfast of champs; breakfast casserole, juice box, and yogurt with daddy slipping some french toast to me while mommy wasn't looking.

As soon as she walked in the door, this is the first thing she did.

Yes, I'm cute but this is not a very fun present, lets move on already!

Checking our her Dora dish set, what a fun Christmas!

Christmas dinner with our friends the Ollis's. What a feast we had! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas like we did. It is most definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

Christmas in England!

Snow on Christmas Eve !!! I don't remember EVER having a white Christmas!

From the outside looking in

It's time to get the cookies ready for Santa's visit.

Ohhh, this icing stuff is neat! Look how good I'm doing!

Hmm, wait a minute, yall are holding out on me, this is yummy!!!

After reading the Christmas story and Molly's children's version of the Christmas story book. Molly had her bath and got on her Christmas PJ's from Nana and Grandpa and is ready to get out the grub for Santa.

Now we are ready! Cookies for Santa (minus the one Molly iced, that one got eaten), an apple for Rudolph and milk for Santa. Now it's time to hurry to bed!

Christmas morning breakfast. Eggnog french toast for Bryon and Breakfast casserole for me. Molly liked a little of both.

Looks like Christmas morning!

Breakfast is ready, Santa has stopped by but where is Molly??? Asleep still!! So at 10:15 we went to wake her up. We were too excited to wait anymore! Stay tuned for part 2 of Christmas morning!
