Bryon and his team participated in a large medical training event outside of Bamako, Mali with US and Malian military teams. His team provided information for dissemination, book bags for children and fabric for the women who were patients at the clinics. There was also a ceremony with the village people and they sang and danced. The colonel presented the village elder with gifts and worked to foster the relationship with the villagers.The team also visited one of the medical clinics set up jointly by the US and Malian military. The clinic sees an average of 800 patients a day, the majority of them being women and children. They provide general medical treatment, optometry and dental services as well.
