We have a wonderful little zoo 6 minutes from our house, I will tell you more about it in a later post, and this series of pictures was taken during Molly's favorite portion of the zoo. The pictures really reminded me of Christ's conversation with Peter in the book of John. Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him and Peter replies, "Lord you know that I love you". Jesus replies, "Then feed my sheep". Jesus asks him this same question three times even with the ultimate answer each time being, "then feed my sheep".
My sweet little girl is so kindhearted. She loves animals but not just in the sense that they are fun to play with, rather she loves them like a mom loves her children. If they get scared she will try to protect them. If they get hurt, she kisses and hugs them and comforts them. At the zoo, these baby lambs are still small enough to squeeze out of the pen and let people feed them. So every trip we spend at least 30 minutes feeding, petting and loving on the lambs. Here is a glimpse into that experience..
I may come out bruised and nibbled on but I love the lambs so much!
Daddy helping me feed the lambs.
I only have a little bit of food left, which sheep needs it the most. Hm.
This is the one.
Kissing the lambs goodbye until our next visit.

aw I am so glad you got this on camera. She was the most precious thing ever at that zoo. Plus, I absolutely loved it.
Sweet Molly Jane...I cannot wait to go to the zoo with you and see the little lambs. Gram promises to leave her knitting needles at your house while we play with those walking balls of yarn...LOL...
