Big sister moments
Strawberries a bloomin!
Molly and I decided to try our hand at gardening this year. Unfortunately, our landlords wouldn't let us dig in the lawn so we found these grow bags and grew our fruit and vegetables without the lawn! We planted 9 strawberry plants, two tomato and one bell pepper plant and lots of romaine lettuce. We also planted seedlings in March and saw them bloom beautifully these past couple of months. These are the pictures from our first ripe strawberry.

Baking projects
Having my mother-in-law here has been great. I know very few people would actually like their mother-in-law staying in their house for 6 weeks, but I am blessed to have a fantastic one and we have had a blast. She has helped me with my knitting, housework, taking care of the kids, and so much more. One thing we have been doing together quite often is from scratch baking. I have always been intimidated with the whole concept of kneading dough and working with yeast (aside from dropping it in my bread machine).
Below are some of my newest creations. It is very fulfilling knowing that what you are putting in your families mouths are fresh and without chemicals and preservatives. So stay tuned for more of my baking projects in the future.
I forgot to take an end picture of these but they are homemade cinnamon rolls, Bryon's favorite treat.
These I made for afternoon tea. They are homemade jam sandwhich biscuits (or cookies is what we would call them).

My little man!
At my little man's 6 week visit, he measured in at....
Weight 12ib 6oz
Length 25 inches
This means he is still 91% in weight and 98.5% in length. They measured his head circ this time and it was 91% as well. So my big man is still a big man! Here are the pictures I took yesterday while he was playing on the play mat. He is now smiling at me and cooing. He rarely ever cries. Even when he's hungry he just kinda squeeks. He is so relaxed and chill just like his dad. Totally the opposite from me :) He is sleeping 5-6 hours during the night, waking up to eat and then going back to sleep for 3 more hours. I am so thankful for my sweet handsome little guy.
